Searching for Signs of Spring

In Kindergarten, we’re searching for signs of spring every day. We’ve seen buds growing on the trees, lots of rain and mud and grass, and a few small flowers are starting to poke their way up through the melting snow.
We’ve listened for birds in our schoolyard.
In our graphing unit, we took charts out and tallied the number of birds, trees, and pieces of garbage we found. Can you guess what we found most of?

Rhubarb shoots are one of the first to pop their little heads up in my backyard.

My family has planted seeds for our garden and they are starting to germinate. We’ll be planting seeds in our class very soon!
