Favourite Books Friday: Books about Feelings
This week’s Favourite Books Friday is about books that discuss feelings.
The best part about teaching Kindergarten is seeing the kids learn and grow. One of the things that makes this job so amazing are all of the emotions they experience – from happiness to sadness, anger to laughter. There’s a lot for them to feel! And it’s up to us as teachers to help them work through these feelings in a healthy way that encourages them to develop self-regulation skills. That’s why I’ve compiled a list of great books about feelings for Kindergarten teachers!
I hope you enjoy reading these books with your students and that they are great resources in your classroom.
Tip: These books are available on Amazon.ca for quick purchase. You can help support this blog by purchasing the children’s book(s) through this link.
