How to Paint Blown Out Eggs
Sometimes I wonder what it’s like to live in a place where winter isn’t so harsh. Do people have the same appreciation for the warmth and sunshine we do in Southern Ontario?
Decorating for Easter is one of my favourite moments in the spring – second to planting seeds for our garden. We have hope that warmer weather is coming with green grass, leaves, and NO MORE SNOWSUITS! That’s what my sons look forward to most of all.
Here’s a fun way to decorate your Easter eggs this year.
How to Blow Out Eggs
1. Use a pin to poke a small hole in the top and bottom of an egg.
2. Hold the egg over a bowl. Blow through the top hole until all of the egg comes out of the bottom hole. Make the bottom hole a little bigger if necessary.
3. Rinse out the egg.
4. Decorate! (And then make something delicious with the eggs!)
